How do I change my notifications in the Seesaw Family account? (Families)

You're in control of how often you're notified about new information in Seesaw. Here are your options:

  1. Login to your Seesaw Account
    • On a computer or laptop, go to https://app.seesaw.me/
    • On a tablet or smartphone, open the Seesaw Family App. Seesaw_Family_App.png 

  2. Tap your Profile Icon in the upper left corner.

  3. Tap the Gear Icon and choose Account Settings.

  4. Scroll down to the "Manage Notifications" or "Parent Notifications" section in your Account Settings.  

  5. Change email notifications to 
    • All - Seesaw will send an email for every journal post approved to your family's associated email account.
    • Once Per Day - Once per day, Seesaw will send an email that will illustrate how many new Seesaw posts were approved.
    • Never.  You will not receive an email.

  6. Change iOS/Android Push Notifications to:
    • All - Seesaw will send a notification to your tablet or smartphone for every journal post approved to your family's associated email account.
    • Once Per Day - Once per day, Seesaw will send a notification to your tablet or smartphone, which will illustrate how many new Seesaw posts were approved.
    • Never.  You will not receive any notifications.

  7. Not Recommended. Enable SMS Notifications.  This is disabled by default and requires that a parent or family member add their phone number to receive SMS notifications about their child's journal.  To add a phone number, scroll to the "Profile" section, and add your phone number.
