Attachments
The Attachments tab allows you to link supporting documents and webpages from your file.
The attachments tab is a good way to store documents or websites that you might want to share with othersthat you might want to share with others.
The quickest way to get a graphic from the Internet into your SMARTBoard file is to:
1. Find the picture you’re looking for
2. Copy and paste the images into your file.
3. Add to My Content if it is an image you will use over and over.
My Content
You can add objects to a folder in the gallery called My Content. You can add images, sounds, and even page layouts to the folder.
Images: To add an image to the folder, simply drag and item from the work area to the My Content folder. To rename the image (to something you will remember), find the image in your My Content folder. Select the drop down menu from the image and select rename.
Page Layouts: To add an entire page to My Content, select the drop down menu from the page in the page sorter tab. Select “Add page to gallery.” You can browse for your page by selecting My Content from the gallery. To rename the page layout (to something you will remember), find the page layout in your My Content folder. Select the drop down menu select rename.
Note: Images and page layouts added to My Content will only be available on the computer that you were working on at the time you added them.
SMART Notebook Document Writer
Use this when you want to incorporate any document/PowerPoint into a Notebook file. This will be better resolution than using the Notebook camera tool to copy an entire page.
1. In MS Word or PowerPoint (or other program with a print option), select File, then Print.
2. Choose SMART Notebook Document Writer from printer names.
3. You can insert it as:
SMART Notebook pages with images
SMART Notebook pages with editable objects (which may/may not be as you had in the original document)
4. It will send the page(s) to a new Notebook document.
