How do Ink Aware applications work?
Ink Aware applications recognize which area of the software is the active work area and which area is used for buttons and toolbars. When you write or draw something you can save your file and your notes will be visible the next time you open it.
Microsoft Word and Excel
When using Microsoft Word or Excel software with your interactive whiteboard, you will notice four new buttons. They may be integrated with the current toolbar or separated as a floating toolbar.
When presenting with PowerPoint software, you can save your notes as images and save screen captures to Notebook software. Use the Slide Show toolbar to access the Ink Aware features. The Slide Show toolbar appears automatically when you run a PowerPoint slideshow.
