Access Canvas on Mobile Devices -- iPhone, iPad, and Android Devices

Canvas is available on iOS (iPhones and iPads) and Android devices.  

Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1: Be sure to select “Canvas by Instructure” when downloading the most current app.  Screen_Shot_2015-09-08_at_9.22.10_AM.pngIt will have a red icon. 


Step 2: Open the app, type in the search field, type Blake, Select “The Blake School”

Tap the search field [1].

 

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Select the “Authorize” button and Check “Remember Authorization” to allow Canvas to access your Blake account.

Note: If you forget your password for Canvas, then you will need to submit a Canvas password reset request form, available at http://bit.ly/blakecanvasreset. It takes approximately 1-2 business days before a password will be resent to you. In the meantime, you can always ask your student to log in to their Canvas account to review upcoming assignments.

Parents and Guardians have limited functionality of the Canvas App because they are observers. You will be able to access items such as “To Do” (Assignments) and the Calendar as well as change “Notifications”
