Hold
1. Press the Hold button . The hold icon
appears and the line button flashes green. The call recipient will hear music.
2. To resume a call from hold, press the flashing green line button, Resume or Hold .
Transfer
1. From a connected call (not on hold), press the Transfer button .
2. Enter the transfer recipient’s phone number.
3. Your original call is then put on hold, and you are connected to the transfer recipient. If you choose, you can explain that you are transferring.
4. Press the Transfer button or the Transfer softkey (before or after the recipient answers). The transfer completes, and you are disconnected from both calls.
Transfer across lines
You can transfer together two calls on two lines without remaining on the call yourself:
1. From a connected call (not on hold), press the Transfer button .
2. Press the line button for the other (held) call. The transfer completes.
Answer a Second Call
To switch from a connected call to a ringing call:

Press the Answer Softkey.
The first call is automatically placed on hold when you answer the ringing call.
To switch between connected calls (on one line):
- Use the navigation arrows to highlight the call you want, or press the call's corresponding Line Button.
- Press the Resume Softkey.
Any active call is placed on hold and the selected call is resumed.
To end either call:
- Use the navigation arrows to highlight the call, or press the call's corresponding Line Button.
- Press the EndCall Softkey.
Handling multiple calls
Your phone line can handle multiple calls. Each call is represented visually by a new call pane on your screen. Keep these tips in mind when you're handling multiple calls:
- The active call pane is darker than the other call pane(s).
- The SoftKeys across the bottom of your screen affect the active call pane only.
- You can use the four-way navigation pad to move between panes.
