Seesaw Activities - Set Folders to Make It Easy to Find Student Responses Tagged to a Folder

The Blake Seesaw accounts were created so lower school students logged in to one Seesaw classroom for both their classroom and specialist activities. This also allowed parents to view their child's digital portfolios in one place. Below is a "PRO TIP" to help balance the workflow between classroom teachers and specialist teachers:
Add a folder to an Activity (e.g. Math, Writing, Music, Art, Theater)

1. In the My Library section of the Activity Library, tap on the activity you would like to share with your class(es).

2. Tap 'Assign'

3. Select the class you want to share your activity with, then tap 'Edit Students, Folders, Skills'.

4. Tap 'folders' at the top to tag folders, which will make it much easier to find and filter student work as students return the items to you. Then, tap the green check.

5. SPECIALISTS. REPEAT Steps 3 and 4 for Each Class. Tap 'folders' at the top to tag folders, which will make it much easier to find and filter student work as students return the items to you. Then, tap the green check.

Note: You can always select the "Private (Teachers Only)" folder if you would like to review the work before it is posted.

5. You can always "Schedule" an Activity" to send at a certain date/time (e.g. Monday at 9 am).  Then, Tap 'share' to share the activity with the tagged folders with your class(es).
