This article shows you how to report a suspicious email or phishing attack to Blake ISS using IronTraps, a Gmail add-on made by IronScales. If you’re not sure whether an email is safe, report it and ISS will review it for you.
Before you begin, open the email in Gmail in a web browser or in the Gmail app on your iPhone or Android device. IronTraps is not available in third-party mail clients such as Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook.

If you use Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, or another mail client without the IronTraps button, you can still report a suspicious email. You can either sign in to Gmail in a web browser and follow the steps above, or forward the email to ISS.
- From your mail client, open the suspicious email.
- Forward the email to reportphishing@blakeschool.org.
What Happens After You Report
ISS reviews your report and uses specialized tools to determine whether the email is malicious. You will receive an email notification about the status of your report.
