We now have a new recycling program for the Konica MFPs.
Konica recycling boxes will be located next to each MFP for your convenience.
One-stop recycling: All Konica consumables, including toner cartridges, imaging units, waste toner bottles, developer units, drums, etc., can be placed into the collection box.
All brands of consumables can be included with your Konica collection box, so if you have any remaining HP/Lexmark/Canon supplies, please add them to the box.
Box Program: The Konica toner recycling boxes have pre-affixed free return UPS labels. When a box is full, secure the liner with the included zip tie, tape the lid, and give the box to the UPS driver the next time they are on campus. (There is a charge if you schedule a UPS pickup.)

New collection boxes can be ordered from www.cleanplanetprogram.com or see the attachment. If this is your first time ordering a recycle box, then you will need to register for the Clean Planet Program Customer ID. Be sure to select the "Box Program."
Please do not put toner cartridges into the blue (paper) or green (compost) recycling bins or trash. Use the Konica recycling boxes instead.
Why: How we handle empty toner & ink cartridges is critical to the environment. Toner cartridges are made up of chemicals that can harm all living things if they seep into the environment. Fortunately, there are ways to prevent empty toner cartridges from polluting our environment. One of these ways is recycling the proper way.
